We are introducing a new kind of ceramic steel for sharpening kitchen knives, the C10.
We have tested it very carefully and found that it brings a tremendously good edge, especially on high quality chef’s knives. What’s good as well is that it has anti-break and shock-absorbing qualities – should you drop it to the floor from a kitchen table, it will most likely not break! Still the surface hardness is as high as 9 on the Mohs scale, only the diamond reach 10.
Together with the D12 diamond sharpening steel, this is by far the best solution to offer to quality-minded users, professionals or amateurs.

Bench stone DC 521, diamond stone (coarse), ceramic stone (fine). DC521 is a bench stone of a less common category, since it offers two different kinds of stones. The yellow part is a fast and aggressive diamond stone, while the dark is a slow, very fine ceramic stone. Both surfaces are precision flat, which is a prerequisite for perfect sharpening results. The diamond stone works fast and should be used if the edge is very thick. The sharpness obtained is usually enough for everyday tasks. The ceramic whetstone works much more slowly and gives a smoother, razor-sharp edge when necessary. For tools and chef knives, this bench stone is among the best we can offer. It comes in a nice gift box, and sharpening advises are added.

Ideal für schnelles Nachschärfen unterwegs und zu Hause ohne großen Aufwand, ohne Öl, ohne Wasser oder Schleifpasten. Größe (geschlossen) 125 x 30 mm, geöffnet 226 x 30 mm. Warum mit Diamant schärfen? Fakt ist, Messerstähle entwickeln sich stetig weiter und werden Zäher und vor allem Härter. Die Lösung um effektiv diese verbesserten, auch von Fällkniven eingesetzten Stähle zu Schärfen, sind diamantbeschichtete Messerschärfer. Vorteil der Diamantschärfer sind nicht nur der bessere Abtrag des Stahls als auch die feinere Körnung und des sich daraus ergebenden feinen Schliffbildes an der Klingenschneide. Hinzu kommt die Tatsache, dass diese Diamantschärfer weder Öl noch Wasser oder andere Schleifpasten als Schleifmittelzusatz benötigen. Somit kann der Diamantschärfer auch unterwegs ohne großen Aufwand genutzt werden. Ideal auf Touren oder beim Camping. Die Oberfläche besteht aus Titan-Aluminium-Nitrid, was die Lebensdauer der Schärfer erheblich verlängert. Die grobe Seite, mit 44 Mikron Korngröße ist bei Klingenausbrüchen oder Scharten zu empfehlen.Die feinere Seite mit 25 Mikron Korngröße wird zum normalen Abziehen und Schärfen genutzt. Dem doppelseitiger Diamantschärfer FDD von Fällkniven liegt eine Gebrauchsanweisung in englischer Sprache bei. Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung etwas Spülmittel und heißes Wasser. Wie alle Diamantschärfer ist dieser Schleifstein anfangs etwas rau, wird aber nach einiger Zeit glatter. Wenn Sie Ihr Messer viele hundert Male geschärft haben, sollten Sie erwägen, dem Messer wieder einen orginal Werksschliff zu verpassen.
