Stabilisierte Hängebirke (lat. Betula Carecila) mit einer starken Maserung, Block ungeschliffen im Format 140 x 43 x 33 mm.Diese spezielle Art der Stabilisierung erschafft einen völlig neuen Werkstoff, ähnlich tropischen Harthölzern, jedoch ungiftig, geruchsneutral und einfach durch schleifen, sägen, bohren oder hobeln zu Bearbeiten. Nach der Behandlung legt das Holz ca. 50 % bis 100 % seines Ursprunsgewichtes zu. Mit Hilfe von Vakuum und Druck wird der Füllstoff Plexiglas® selbst in die härtesten Stellen des Holzes eingebracht und anschließend gehärtet. Der Vorteil zu anderen Verfahren (wie z.B. Harz, 2- Komponentenkleber, Sekundenkleber) ist die unübertroffene Schlagfestigkeit und Zähigkeit, sowie die besondere Betonung der Maserung und vor allem deren Ungiftigkeit.
