Bark River Bravo 1.5 - Antique Ivory Micarta 10 7/8" overall. 5 3/4" 3V stainless blade. Full extended tang with lanyard slot. Antique ivory micarta handles. Brown leather belt sheath. The Bark River Knives Bravo-1.5 is a new and heavily requested version of the Bravo-1. The blade has been lengthened to 5.8 inches long with no other real changes to the original knife. This new longer blade really does add a new dimension to the usefulness of the knives of this Series. The added forward balance is very comfortable in use and does not impair the knife from accomplishing all of the tasks that the original B-1 does so well. A lot of folks asked us to make this longer version. On this model we have used the New Crucible CPM 3V Super Steel which has really enhanced the performance and is more corrosion resistant than our Standard version in A-2. It’s edge holding is up and the added toughness is a noticeable asset and it is not difficult to re-sharpen. The Bravo-1.5 is a welcome addition the the Bravo Series. The sheath is actually the very same as our new standard sheath for the Bravo-1 but it is lengthened for the longer blade and has solid rivet reinforcement at the mouth. The sheaths for this run have all been made by the folks at Great Lakes Leather Works.
Bravo EDC Green Canvas is 7 1/8" overall. 3 1/4" A-2 tool steel blade. Full tang. Green canvas micarta handles. Lanyard hole. Brown leather belt sheath. The new Bravo EDC is the newest addition to our Standard Bravo Series. It is actually a scaled down version of the Bravo 1 and Gunny to a very compact EDC size. The handle scales have the same contours as larger models but with an overall slimmer profile to have the knife ride closer to the body when on the belt. It comes standard with the family look of the ramp, but we can remove the ramp if you prefer. You will find this size to be easy to carry and very handy for small to medium chores. This knife comes with the Highland Sheath. However it also fits with the Mini North Star and Bushcraft D sheaths as well.
Bravo Gunny Hunter Black Canvas Micarta is 8 1/4" overall. 3 5/8" CPM-3V stainless blade with thumb ridge. Full tang. Contoured black canvas micarta handles. Lanyard hole. Embossed brown leather belt sheath. The new Gunny-Hunter is the factory drop point version of the Standard Gunny. All Gunny-Hunters are rampless and have been made with and without jimping on the spine. This version of the Gunny has, not only a dropped point, but has a hunter saber grind on the blade. The terminal geometry of the edge is a little thinner than a standard Gunny and is made more for field work and hunting tasks than the standard model. We have been converting so many of the standard Gunnys to a drop point rampless that we decided, with suggestion from Jason at DLT, to offer this new version. The clean lines of the knife are apparent and it adds a whole new look to this series. This knife is supplied with the Gunny Pouch Sheath.
