If you haven’t tried this diamond stone, you have a pleasant surprise in front of you. This lightweight, handy sharpener is incredibly good at sharpening all kinds of cutting tools because of the good handle. And diamonds deliver a really good edge on any blade steel you try it on, no problems. In addition, you don’t need to mess with oil or water, and if you think the DF24 feels soft, wash it off with warm water and some detergent. At first, the diamond stone is a little rough but after a short break-in period, it delivers a very smooth and sharp edge, good enough for almost all purposes. The diamonds are held in place in the matrix by a layer of titanium aluminum nitride which greatly extends the life of the sharpening stone. Measurements: 5x20x150 mm, of which diamond stone length 61 mm. Weight 24 gram.

Wasserschleifstein mit zwei feinen Körnungen 2000/5000 im Format 180 x 60 x 30 mm inkl. zwei Antirutschplatten aus Silikon. Ideal zum Schärfen & Schleifen harter Stähle wie Kochmesser & Werkzeuge.Die synthetisch hergestellten Wassersteine (Schärfsteine) finden wegen ihrer ausgezeichneten Schärfleistung immer mehr begeisterte Anwender. Durch die gute Bindung und die offenporige Struktur der Steine werden während der Bearbeitung laufend frische Schärfpartikel freigelegt und damit maximale Schärfleistungen erzielt. Das Schleifgranulat besteht aus Metalloxiden, Karbiden und Nitriden von hoher chemischer Reinheit, die in einer keramischen oder synthetischen Matrix gebunden sind. Die Steine eignen sich gleichermaßen für japanische oder europäische Schnittwerkzeuge und Messer. Die Steine werden vor Gebrauch ca. 5 - 10 Minuten gewässert.
