Walnut also known as walnut (Juglans regia Latin) comes from Europe or from the southwestern part of Asia. The color of the heartwood varies but usually gray-brown with irregular dark stripes. The wood is good with hand tools to edit as with machines. It can be very good planing, carving turner and nail, screw and grind. To avoid fading of the wood surface treatment with UV protection (such as tung oil, Item. 966751) is recommended. Each grain is individual.
The tree reaches a height of 30 meters and a diameter of 0.6 to 0.9 meters.
During processing of the wood may cause irritation of the nose, eyes, and throat may occur.

Wunderbare, tief plastische Zeichnung auch bei der mittleren Qualität. Fehlerfreies Holz ohne Hohlräume oder Äste. Würde ich gleich wieder verwenden.
