Nützliches Werkzeug
Produkt heute erhalten. Gleich ausprobiert und zwei Abstecher geschliffenen. Brauchte schon seine Zeit bis alles richtig eingestellt war. Die Führung der Meisel waren schwierig, hatte mir das einfacher vorgestellt. Wahrscheinlich fehlt die Übung!

Accessory Items
Tormek Universal Gouge Jig SVD-186R, for turning and firmer gouges, as well as cutters for hollowing tools etc., up to 25 mm wide. Adjustable in cutting angle and shape. A new and additional locking screw now allows you to fix the Gouge Jig´s rotary movement at the required location. With this new feature, it will be easier to maintain full control when sharpening carving tools, such as V-tools. The locking screw also facilitates grinding to a completely flat bevel on violin making knives and chip carving knives when using the MB-100 Multi Base and Tormek Diamond Wheels. Fits Tormek models 2000-2006, 1200-1206, T-3, T-4, T-7 and T-8.

This little Tormek SVS-38 jig is designed for sharpening short woodcarving tools and the shortest chisels. Suitable for straight shanked tools, such as wood chisels, carving gouges and tools for power carvers. The jig has two parallel flanges running on both sides of the Universal Support which ensures that the jig at all times – even when rotated – holds the tool square to the grindstone. This is a great advantage, as you can continuously concentrate on how the edge touches the grindstone or the honing wheel without having to worry whether the jig is square to the stone. Min length of tool 45 mm (1¾") at 20° edge angle. What differs SVS-38 from SVS-32? SVS-38 is a further development of SVS‑32. It can handle slightly wider tools but apart from that, the function is the same as for the SVS-32 jig. SVS-38: Max. tool width 38 mm.SVS-32: Max. tool width 32 mm. Grinding jigs and accessories are suitable for both models (2006 and 1206) unless otherwise noted.
