Super Spaltaxt
Habe die Spaltaxt gerade bekommen und direkt getestet. Stammdicke 20cm und ein Durchmesser von etwa 70cm und es war kein Problem das Ding klein zu bekommen. Die Arbeits-Balance der Axt ist sehr gut, sie schneidet/spaltet tief in das Holz hinein, etwa 3 cm tief. Zum Vergleich schafft meine Fiskars X25 (höheres Kopfgewicht und längerer Stiehl) nur etwa 1 cm Schnitttiefe, obwohl die schärfe beim Test eben etwa gleich war. Ich kann diese Spaltaxt nur empfehlen. Sie ist jeden Cent wert und eine Anschaffung fürs Leben!

Gutes Produkt
Axt liegt gut in der Hand spaltet gut. Die Stieloberfläche ist für meine Begriffe ziemlich rau Wer ist der Schmied mit MH ?

Sehr gute Qualität! Mit ein wenig Nacharbeit perfekt!
Nutze die Axt hauptsächlich zum Späne hacken. Hier ist ihre größe ein deutlicher Vorteil, man kann auch auf große Holzstücke ordentlich draufhauen, während sie sich bei kleinern Stücken prima auch einhändig führen lässt ohne zu schwer zu werden. Nach Erhalt habe ich die Axt in feiner Körnung nachgeschliffen und auf Leder abgezogen, sodass man sich damit mühelos rasieren kann! Der Stahl zeigt eine hervorragende Standfähigkeit, denn auch nach einigen Stunden des Hackens hat die Axt immer noch Rasierschärfe!

Das ist schon ein Unterschied zu der Baumarktware. Echte gute Handarbeit, für mehrere Generationen. Ohne Einschränkungen zu empfehlen

Spitzen Produkt
Ich habe den Forstbeil und nun die kleine Spaltaxt. Beide sind top. Liegt gut in der Hand. Nicht zu schwer und spaltet auch größere Stücke. Die Länge ist genau richtig. Die Lieferung klappte super und sehr schnell auch nach Österreich. Mein Händler in der Nähe hatte diese Axt nicht lieferbar und vertröstete mich. Bei euch bekam ich sie. Ich kaufe wieder bei euch. It is forged and ground to a concave, quite thin blade at the bit. The axe cuts quickly and easily into the wood and then effectively splits it as the broader section pushes apart the wood.
