Our CHOU knife is a neck knife inspired by the Japanese "Naginata". The sharpness of this knife is useful in a variety of situations during the course of our daily lives. The knife comes un-wrapped allowing you to wrap the handle in whatever patten you like. You also have the option of purchasing our ironwood handle, which can be fitted in place of the silk cord. The material used for the SAI-ZDP handle is made from titanium, and the blade is made from ZDP189. The shape of the blade is a dual convex HONZUKURI blade. ZDP189 is a high carbon stainless steel and so, functions best if the blade is wiped after each use. The surface roughness is 0.0045 microns.
