Its soft, creamy texture and uniform cell structure allow it to be easily worked by hand. The degree of detail possible is shown by the works of the Master Woodcarver Tilman Riemenschneider, who almost exclusively used linden wood. The pieces offered here are seasoned and have a homogenous wood structure.
