Original handgefertigter blauer Belgischer Brocken als Wetzstein in der großen Version im Format ca. 200 mm x 50 mm x 15 mm, Gewicht ca. 506 g aus den belgischen Ardennen. Hier handelt es sich um einen Schleifstein mit einer Körnung von ca. 5000-6000.Der "Belgische Brocken" ist ein Schleifstein, der für viele Werkzeug- und Messerschärfer der Inbegriff des Abziehsteins ist. Er enthält ca. 30 % homogene eingelagerte Granate als Schleifpartikel, dadurch ist er etwas langsamer im Materialabtrag als der bekannte gelbe Brocken, aber dafür langlebiger. Der große Vorteil des Blauen Steins liegt darin, dass die vorkommenden Schichten in Stärken von 15–20 cm verwertet werden können, wodurch man wieder schöne große Banksteine schneiden kann. Als Hilfsmittel beim Schleifprozess eignet sich am besten Wasser. Die Körnung des blauen Belgischen Brockens beträgt ca. 5000 - 6000. (Alle Maße sind ca. Maße). Die von uns vertriebenen Belgischen Brocken werden noch per Hand in Belgien gefertigt und sind jeder für sich ein Einzelstück.
