Their soft bond and open-pored structure allow fresh, sharp abrasives to be continually exposed during use, resulting in optimal sharpening performance.The stones are made of highly purified metal oxide, carbide and nitride particles bonded together in a ceramic or synthetic matrix. They are suitable for both Japanese and European cutting tools and knives. If necessary, they can be trued with wet silicon carbide paper stuck to a glass surface or preferably with a special ceramic truing block (No. st024). Prior to use, the stones must be soaked for 2 - 10 minutes, depending on grit. Bravo Gunny Hunter Black Canvas Micarta is 8 1/4" overall. 3 5/8" CPM-3V stainless blade with thumb ridge. Full tang. Contoured black canvas micarta handles. Lanyard hole. Embossed brown leather belt sheath. The new Gunny-Hunter is the factory drop point version of the Standard Gunny. All Gunny-Hunters are rampless and have been made with and without jimping on the spine. This version of the Gunny has, not only a dropped point, but has a hunter saber grind on the blade. The terminal geometry of the edge is a little thinner than a standard Gunny and is made more for field work and hunting tasks than the standard model. We have been converting so many of the standard Gunnys to a drop point rampless that we decided, with suggestion from Jason at DLT, to offer this new version. The clean lines of the knife are apparent and it adds a whole new look to this series. This knife is supplied with the Gunny Pouch Sheath.

Messerklinge EnZo Trapper mit einer Klinge aus N690-Stahl und einem Skand-Schliff, einer Klingenlänge von 95 mm, einer Klingenstärke von 3,6 mm, einer Klingenhöhe von 2,6 cm und einer Gesamtlänge von 210 mm. Vorgefertigte Bohrungen für Griff und Lanyardloch (siehe unten). Die Klingen des finnischen Herstellers EnZo bestechen durch ihre eleganten, sehr zeitlosen Form und deren vielseitige Einsatzmöglichkeiten. Speziell für die Jagd und den Outdoorbereich eignen sich die Klingen der Trapper Serie. Die Klingen sind bereits gehärtet und geschliffen. Die Klingengeometrie entspricht einer Drop-Point Klinge der sogenannte Skandi-Schliff, der übrigens auch von Mora angewendet wird, geht auf Null zur Klingenschneide zu. Hierdurch hält das EnZo Trapper sehr gut die Schnitthaltigkeit und lässt sich bei Bedarf jedoch auch leicht nachschärfen. Die EnZo Trapper Klinge hat zwei vorgebohrte Löcher für die Griffschalen sowie ein vorgebohrtes Loch für die Lanyard-Hülse. Zum Verschrauben der Griffe eigenen sich unsere Corby Nieten, diese besitzen bereits den genauen Durchmesser der vorgebohrten Grifflöcher, sowie für das Lanyardloch unsere Lanyard-Röhre in Messing oder unser passendes Edelstahlrohr.
