The carving knife and chisel set for beginners consists of a carving knife with a short, wide blade measuring 32 mm in length and a carving knife with a long, narrow blade measuring 36 mm in length. The set also includes a 6-mm V-shaped chisel and an 8-mm rounded chisel.

The ash wood handles of the carving knives are ergonomically shaped and feel comfortable in the hand even when applying considerable pressure. The carbon steel blades, designed specifically for carving, are sharpened to a fine edge and can be easily resharpened using standard sharpening tools. The carving knives are manufactured in the U.S., and each blade is sharpened and tested by hand. This set is ideal for discovering the wonderful and creative hobby of woodcarving.

For sharpening, we recommend the “Sharpening Set for Carving Knives with Honing Strap and Polishing Paste.” The polishing compound included in this set is designed to be applied like a pencil to deburr the knife and achieve a smooth, polished edge.

Qualitativ Hochwertig

Das Set ist qualitativ sehr hochwertig. Die Messer liegen gut in der Hand und sind sehr scharf. Eine ganz klare Kaufempfehlung von mir.

Gute Qualität, optimal für Einsteiger

Kaum waren die Messer angekommen, haben wir sie gleich ausprobiert. Sie liegen gut in der Hand und sind auch scharf genug um härteres Holz zu bearbeiten. Alles in allem eine gute Qualität, würde sie wieder kaufen bzw. weiterempfehlen.
