Our society’s obsession with speed and convenience has led to a decrease in the popularity of the traditional shave and made good straight razors increasingly hard to find. Today, only two of the most experienced blacksmiths working at the renowned Sabatier forge in France are still versed in the art of forging razor blades. To craft these delicate blades, the smiths use highly pure carbon steel from Sheffield, also known as “Silver Steel” due to its bright polish. The blades are fully hollow ground for maximum sharpness and sharpenability. Supplied in leather sleeves with sharpening instructions.
