The renowned Thiers-Issard knife-making company still has a limited number of wide, straight-razor blanks that were forged at the beginning of the 19th century from the very best Sheffield Cast Steel. Thiers-Issard crafts these precious blanks into exclusive straight razors in a series of grinding and polishing steps. While they are beautiful enough to serve as the center piece of any razor collection, their incredible sharpness and comfortable handling make them perfect for daily use as well. The mirror-polish is only attainable when using especially fine-grained, non-stainless carbon steel (also known as "silver steel"). Hand-filed, decorative blade backs and a practical handle made of striped water buffalo horn complete these masterful razors.
Supplied in a fine leather case.
