Linseed oil is established as one of the best oils to use for finishing wood because it hardens as it dries, forms a water-resistant coat, is food safe and environmentally friendly. Swedish Linolja oil is cold-pressed to preserve the oil’s natural properties.

Flax from the northern regions of the globe has been shown to contain up to 60% more unsaturated linoleic acid. This allows the oil obtained to harden more quickly and form a better protective coating.

It is also sun bleached to give the resulting coat a highly transparent quality, thus allowing the beauty of the wood to fully come to the fore.
