To learn and practice this rare art, you must have a razor which is perfectly forged and polished and which has a forgiving yet phenomenally sharp edge. We are honored to be able to offer these three hand-crafted razors by Thiers Issard (located in the Auvergne region of France and perhaps the last Central European maker of razors this high in quality). The blades are fully hollow-ground (“singing”) and made of carbon steel (not corrosion-free) for maximum sharpenability.
