This new folding saw is one big reason why Silky is still the leading makerof Japanese folding saws. The 360 mm long blade not only is the longestavailable, it is also the best performing. The taper-ground blade is hardchrome-plated to reduce friction during use and is manufactured to astraightness tolerance of less that 1/10th of a millimetre. The impulsehardened teeth are sharpened using the finest diamond abrasives and perfectlyde-burred on all edges. The tooth patterns contain additional raketeeth to allow the saws to efficiently cut along and diagonal to the grain.The ultralight, highly durable aluminium handle is fitted with ergonomicrubberised grips to make using the saw virtually effortless. Whether youare trimming an apple tree, performing forestry work or large-scale carpentry,this is one saw you will not want to be without.
