Edge length 85 mm, head length approx. 125 mm, head weight approx. 400 g, total length approx. 390 mm, total weight approx. 650 g.

This multi-purpose hatchet has been hand-forged according to a traditional model in the Japanese capital of axe forging, Tosa. Despite its low weight it is exceptionally efficient due to its sharp, 3-layered blade and the recessed shape of the head sides (see illustration), which reduces the contact area and hence friction. Whether used for chopping small pieces of fire wood, sculpting or gardening - this hatchet will become one of your favourite all-round tools. 3-layer blade (Blue Paper Steel, 61 Rockwell), engraved signature of the master, gun metal finished, handle made of Japanese oak, edge protection cap.
